It’s 2020 — everyone needs a little bit of love. And what better way to show it than through easy homemade art gifts? These are simple ideas that even the littlest kids can get in on the fun!
The OG: Share a coloring book page
When you see your babies working so hard on a coloring page, write their name and then give it to you, it’s such a gift! You could also frame it and send it to relatives that live far away, just as an “I’m thinking of you!” 🙂
If you want to be a little extra, add a little glue & glitter or other cute details!
The semi-homemade art gift
I LOVE those little DIY art kits that you can get at stores like Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and sometimes even Walmart! (Don’t they have everything?! Lol!) Probably my favorites are the ones where you can make Christmas ornaments … this is a part of the 101 Days till Christmas 2020 Countdown, sharing ways to show love!
You can even get them on Amazon (of course!) Here’s my affiliate link (it doesn’t cost you extra to shop thru this link!)
Do cookies count as homemade art gifts?!
I’m kidding! No, I’m not! I vote for baking cookies and using icing to make them more “artsy.” Then share them with a loved one! That’s one of the sweetest ways to show love, right? 😉
Art gifts from the kids “most likely to be voted future artists”
This is where you break out the canvas, paint and brushes! Some kids are naturally creative (like mine) and they can literally create masterpieces! Others (like me), need some ideas and guidance (lol!) But either way, it could be a fun project … or check out the art kit below for a fun Christmas gift idea! (I’m an Amazon affiliate & I love sharing links I hope will be just what you’re lookin for … like this one below!)
If you have other simple art gift ideas, please share them in the comments! I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
